FOOD SERVICE NEWS: Welcome to the 2017-2018 School Year!

We will continue serving FREE BREAKFAST to all students this school year.

Depending on your household income you may qualify for free and reduced meals. If your household qualifies for reduced price meals, your child’s lunch will be FREE! To be eligible, you must fill out a new 2017-2018 School Meals Application.

  Paid Lunch Prices:

K-8: $2.25

9-12: $3.00

Reduced Lunch Price:


Per year each K-8 student will cost $405 and High School Student $540. Qualifying for FREE or REDUCED will make your students meals FREE!

Not sure if you qualify for free or reduced lunches? Fill out ONE application per FAMILY. If you are unsure if your student has money on their lunch count, send them with cash or check and include your students first/last name and grade in an envelope. You can also make payments online at mymealtime.com using your student’s identification number that is on their registration or report card. If your Student/ Family qualified for Free/ Reduced meals last school year you MUST complete a new application before September 20, 2017. Benefits will expire and your student will have to pay for lunch.

Linden Unified School District participates in the National School Lunch Program; every student must choose fruit for breakfast and fruit/vegetable for lunch to complete a meal. Please go to lindenusd.com; Food Service for links and information regarding meals and regulations.

Vamos a continuar sirviendo DESAYUNO GRATUITO a todos los estudiantes este año escolar.

Dependiendo de su ingreso familiar puede calificar para recibir comida gratis o a precio reducido. Si su familia califica para comidas a precio reducido, el almuerzo de su hijo será GRATIS! Para ser elegible, debe llenar una nueva Solicitud de Comidas Escolares 2017-2018.

Por año cada estudiante de K-8 costará $405 y el estudiante de la Escuela Secundaria $540. ¡Calificar GRATIS o REDUCIDO hará que sus estudiantes coman gratis!

¿No sabe si califica para almuerzos gratuitos o reducidos? Llene UNA solicitud por FAMILIA. Si no está seguro de si su estudiante tiene dinero en su cuenta, envíelos con dinero en efectivo o cheque en un sobre e incluya el nombre y el grado de su estudiante. También puede hacer pagos en línea en mymealtime.com usando el número de identificación de su estudiante que está en su registro o boleta de calificaciones. Si su estudiante/ familia calificó para comidas gratis/ reducidas el año escolar pasado, DEBE completar una nueva solicitud antes del 20 de septiembre de 2017. Los beneficios expirarán y su estudiante tendrá que pagar por el almuerzo. El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Linden participa en el Programa Nacional de Almuerzos Escolares; Cada estudiante debe elegir fruta para el desayuno y fruta o verdura para el almuerzo para completar una comida.
