Mr. Clay Titus and his wife Sandy have lived in the Linden Unified School District community for 33 years. They have four children. Their daughters both graduated from Linden High School. Daughter Katie graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is currently an agriculture teacher and FFA advisor in the Central valley. Daughter Jennifer graduated from Fresno State and is working towards her teaching credential at CSU Stanislaus. She will be obtaining her multiple subject credential in May, 2015. Both cite the many wonderful teachers in Linden Unified as role models and influences on their lives and career choices. Their twin boys (Michael and Daniel) currently attend Modesto Junior College and are working in the family business.

Clay has served on the Linden School Board since 2004 and has also served as Director for Waterloo Morada Fire for the past seven years. He is the owner of Clayton A. Titus Inc. Clay stays active and involved in the Linden community. He has served as Linden Lions' president, is an Honorary member of Linden FFA, was the Co-Chair of two school bond committees, and a Bond Oversight Committee member. Additionally, he is a member of the Linden Athletic Boosters and the Waverly Parent/Teacher Committee.

Clay is proud of his service on the board and the work which has been done to maintain a balanced budget while still making sure each Linden Unified School District student is able to experience a broad educational experience and have access to the finest educational programs. His philosophy as a board member is to not micromanage the school district but to be supportive in the role of setting policy and monitoring the fiscal health of the District.
