Collective Bargaining Agreements, often referred to as union contracts, outline the terms and conditions of employment for represented staff. At Linden Unified School District, most employees are members of either the Classified School Employees Association, Chapter 372 (CSEA), or the Association of Linden Educators (ALE). For detailed information on current agreements, please refer to the documents provided below.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is a formal agreement between Linden Unified School District and an employee association, established during the term of an existing contract. MOUs are used to address specific issues that may arise due to changes in legislation or by mutual agreement to revisit certain topics before the next full contract negotiation. These agreements may be temporary—automatically expiring after a set period—or permanent, in which case they are incorporated into the next collective bargaining agreement. Current MOUs are available below in PDF format, organized by bargaining group.
