Staff
Patty Atkins, RN, BSN
District Nurse
I received my RN license from San Joaquin Delta College in 1985 and then went on to Stanislaus State for my Bachelors in Nursing, graduating in 1988. I worked on the Medical Surgery floor at San Joaquin General Hospital for 8 years. I was fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mom while my three children were young. Once my youngest started Kindergarten, I went back to work at Linden Unified School District as their Health Clerk. During this time, I went to Fresno State to obtain my School Nursing Credential. I began working as the School Nurse for LUSD in 2003. I love my job. I love the children. Seeing students grow from elementary school to the high school is amazing. The parents in our district are very supportive of their children. It is a great district to work for.

married for the last 12 years and have two beautiful children. My son Logan is a 5th grader at Waterloo
and my daughter Shelby is a 4th grader at Linden Elementary. I grew up here in Linden and have
always loved the small-town community. Working at the high school has been a great experience. I
really enjoy working with all the kids and the staff at Linden High.
